Lexington County Tragedy Claims Two Lives in Domestic Incident/Home Invasion
The identities of the two individuals who tragically lost their lives during a domestic incident/home invasion in Lexington on September 6, 2023, have been revealed by Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher.

According to Coroner Fisher’s official statement, the incident occurred shortly before 1:30 A.M. in the 100 block of Prismatic Way in Lexington.
The perpetrator, identified as 39-year-old Jamal A. Walker from Columbia, entered the residence of his ex-wife, 36-year-old Dominique Bolen Walker of Lexington, and fatally shot her.
Dominique Walker sustained multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body and succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
Remarkably, Ms. Walker’s 9-year-old son was present during this harrowing event but thankfully emerged physically unharmed.
Following the act, Jamal Walker fled the scene and was subsequently pursued by law enforcement.
He ultimately met his demise at another location, succumbing to multiple gunshot wounds.
Autopsies for the victims are scheduled for Friday, September 8, at 8:30 A.M. and will be conducted at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).
Multiple law enforcement agencies, including the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, Lexington Police Department, South Carolina Highway Patrol, and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office, are actively engaged in the ongoing investigation into this distressing incident.
